Today I have been doing my investigation for my wiki-book chapter about gender issues. There is a lot out there but my initial list of sources is ready. There is a lot to read before I can write my chapter. Also the trip to Japan will be incorporated in my writing.

Only one week left before I arrive in Japan. I'm really excited.

Shrinking economy

Today the news about Japan mentioned that the economy is shrinking at record-setting pace. This is mainly the effect of the current global economical crisis. For more detailed information see the following link:

I am wondering what we will experience from this during our visit to Japan next week.

Global citizens

During our stay in Japan we will also be acting as global citizens by presenting special packets of Paper Hands for Peace as good-will messages to various organizations, museums and universities throughout Japan.

Getting started

Last weekend I have had my graduation but I still need some point in order to receive my certificate. Currently I am geeting started for my last course. My last course is a very special one: Global issues Japan. Special because it is a e-course but also because I am really going to visit Japan!

The last preparations for the trip are made and now I need to do some work for the course. Prepare my presentations but also my wiki text. The subjects and more information for this part can be followed in this blog.
